·The First Company to Produce Fireproof Materials in China

The Tianfu Company's predecessor was Chengdu Dujiangyan Fireproof Coating Factory, which was founded in 1985 and was the first company to produce fireproof materials in China. As the Institute's research achievement transformation base, the Tianfu Company launches 'Fulong' fireproof coating for steel structures. Among other products of their type, 'Fulong' products are the first to be successfully developed and applied in China, which has satisfied a need for domestically produced Chinese fireproof coating for steel structures.

·A Full Range of Fireproof Materials

The Tianfu Company has developed more than 20 kinds of products across 4 different series, such as fireproof coatings for steel structures, fireproof coatings for concrete structures, firestop materials, and fireproof boards, which have been widely applied to a variety of fields, meeting customers' needs for diversified fireproof products. More than 10 of these products have won the National or Ministerial (Provincial) Science and Technology Progress Awards. Additionally, the Tianfu Company has obtained more than 40 patents.

·Advanced Automated Production Lines

The Tianfu Company has been certified to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and GB/T 28001 Occupation Health Safety Management System. After the '5.12' Wenchuan Earthquake, the Tianfu Company set up new fireproof material production lines that sit at the forefront of the industry in China, thereby realizing automatic control of some product materials being fed into the production line, and the automatic control of all product measurement and packaging. This enables strict control of the product quality, and ensures the qualified rate of products. The Tianfu Company's annual design production capacity of fireproof materials is in excess of 60,000 tons, which allows the company to provide a strong guarantee for the supply of materials for major projects.

·Strong Capability in Professional Construction

The Tianfu Company has acquired the Level 1 Qualification for Professional Contracting of Fire Protection Installation Engineering, and currently boasts 9 level 1 constructors, 20 level 2 constructors, 36 engineering technical management personnel and cultivated an experienced, skilled and capable professional construction team and professional management team. The Tianfu Company's average annual construction volume exceeds 4 million square meters to satisfy the ability to simultaneously carry out 5 fire protection projects each with a scale exceeding 200,000 square meters.

·Editor of National Standards

The Tianfu Company has participated in the development of many national and professional standards and codes, such as GB 14907 Fire Resistive Coatings for Steel Structure, GB 28375 Fireproof Coatings for Concrete Structure, GB 23864 Firestop Material, GB 28376 Fireproof Board for Tunnels, and CECS 24: 2020 Technical Specification for Application of Fire Resistive Coating for Steel Structure. The Tianfu Company has gained a more thorough understanding and strict implementation of such standards and codes.

The Tianfu Company has been involved in the research on a wide range of subjects during the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan and the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan Periods, including Research on the Pilot Tests and Evaluation Technology Application of New Environment-Friendly Fire Retardant Materials, R&D and Engineering Application Demonstration of Firestop Technology for Ultra-High Building Shafts and Respirable Curtain Wall Cavities, R&D and Preparation Technology for Pilot Tests of Pre-Painted Fireproof Coating for Prefabricated Steel Structure Buildings, Key Technology for Fire Protection and Firestop of High-Rise/Ultra-High Buildings; and other special subjects, including Research on Specialized Technology for Firestop of Valve-Slide Bushing of Ultra-High Pressure Converter Stations, New Firestop Panels, Research on Performance Improvement and Application Technology of Fire Retardant Coatings, and Development of Prefabricated Firewall System for Integrated Pipe Gallery.
